My name is Mrs. Paula Lynch. I have been teaching in Minneapolis since 1997. I live in this community and am thrilled to be teaching at Dowling!
I live with my husband, we have two adult children who attended Minneapolis Public High School.
In my free time, I like to spend it outside as much as possible. I grew up on a farm so each spring I look forward to working in the garden.
Mission Statement: I believe that ALL students deserve the right to a safe, fun, and highly academic environment. I believe in meeting students where they are at and moving them forward in academics, social-emotional learning, and their love of the environment.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns this year. My e-mail address is Paula.Lynch@mpls.k12.mn.us.
My name is Alison Ritten and I began teaching at Dowling School in 2014. After completing my student teaching experience at Dowling in 2010, I spent three and a half years teaching second grade in the Saint Paul Public School district. As a South Minneapolis native and a product of Minneapolis Public Schools myself, I feel very pleased and privileged to be working in this community!
I received my Elementary Education degree, K-6 teaching license, and Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota here in the Twin Cities. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Minnesota.
I am very excited to have the chance to work and learn with Dowling's second graders this year! If you would like to contact me, please feel free to do so via e-mail at any time: alison.ritten@mpls.k12.mn.us.
